Shoreditch
Shoreditch is London's latest hot spot with a captivating mix of bars, restaurants and art galleries. Hackney Council's policy of granting live/work consents has transformed a once downtrodden commercial district into a thriving metropolis of young internet, design and fashion companies, and is often compared to the Tribeca district in New York.
Loft living dominates this unique part of London as former warehouses and factories are converted into live/work spaces or simply huge lofts, particularly around Shepherdess Walk, Wenlock Road and in the sought after Shoreditch Triangle between Shoreditch High Street, Great Eastern Street and Old Street.
Hoxton Square is the areas premier address with The Lux Cinema, White Cube Art Gallery and a number of bars. The area is a popular hangout with young Londoners.
